Days 266 and 267 – pumpkin for a change

On Monday,  C. took me out to dinner to celebrate the fact that our group has made it to 15,000 members.
We went to a restaurant near us that we hadn’t been to yet and we pleasantly suprised. Yummy food, great service and acceptable prices – and all within walking distance of home. Whoever said you couldn’t live in the suburbs?

Yesterday, I tried yet another pumpkin variation – a pumpkin bake, that I made like a potato bake but using pumpkins instead of potatoes and adding some breadcrumbs on top for a bit of a crust.

It worked really well and tasted great while not being too filling. Baking the pumpkin makes it do sweet that next time I’ll actually try a sweet variation of this as dessert, I think…
